What is OCD?
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is an anxiety-related condition that involves unwanted, intrusive thoughts, images, or urges that can feel distressing or frightening. These thoughts often lead to repeated behaviours or mental rituals aimed at reducing anxiety or gaining certainty.
OCD is not about being tidy or organised - it’s about feeling stuck in cycles of fear, doubt, and the need for reassurance or control, even when you know the thoughts don’t reflect who you are.
How can therapy for OCD help?
In a confidential, non-judgemental, and supportive space, you can begin to explore the patterns behind your thoughts and behaviours. Working with an OCD therapist can help you understand what’s maintaining the cycle and develop effective ways to regain a sense of control and self-trust.
